2015 GENERAL ELECTION: A WALK-OVER FOR JONATHAN

2015: Why President Goodluck Already Emerged
In the immortal words of Martin Luther King Jr, he said that "The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy".
I’ve seriously and insightfully observed the status quo. I’ve undertaken a thorough assessment and reassessment of the political situation and permutations between PDP and APC. I’ve x-rayed the chances of both political parties in the forthcoming election, and I am historically compelled and generation duty bound to affirm that the incumbent President Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, the PDP presidential candidate will emerge winner of the February 14, 2015 presidential election.
Whether the APC present a Muslim/Muslim ticket or Christian/Muslim ticket the Party can't win the 2015 presidential election, in fact the party will go to the poll more divided after the party’s congress that will produce the presidential candidate. We all know that the APC have promised heaven and earth but those promises are not well defined, for example, they did not tell Nigerians what percentage (%) of the budgetary allocation they intend giving to the education sector. They also promised to pay all graduate and unemployed youths; these are mere deceptive words that are not well spelt out.
The party is almost becoming a ‘one man show’; Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC leader in the south western Nigeria, and General Mohammed Buhari, the vanguard leader from northern Nigeria both have a domineering posture. There may soon be intense power tussle, and this will heighten the north and south divide. Nigerians are seeing these, and in no distant time this house built on hasty foundation will crumble. No wonder the eloquent Olisa Metuh referred to the APC as having ‘janjaweed ideology’ and her road map as a ‘cul-de-sac’, a road leading to know where.

Above all the APC have not been really constructive in their criticism of President Goodluck Jonathan’s transformation agenda. They booed his achievements, they lampooned and senselessly berate him all the time, and this has made him get more sympathy from the electorate. The president is performing, at least more than his predecessors, even the opposition party APC have not been able to refute this, the unanswered question whether President Jonathan had performed or not has not been sincerely addressed by the APC. This group of disgruntled political jobbers, power hungry portfolio seekers with the name APC can never be trusted with the destiny of this nation. They have nefarious agenda than you can never imagine. APC is neither a sincere nor true opposition party.
Without being hypocritical, calling a spade a spade and not an agricultural instrument, I can unequivocally affirm that President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has performed even in the face of daunting security challenges in the north eastern Nigeria. It is on record that Jonathan built the Almajiris modern schools to take the children used as political thugs off the streets, the construction and dualization of federal roads are visible for all Nigerians to see. The unprecedented economic growth, the revitalization of Peugeot Automotive Nigeria (PAN) car assembly plant in Kaduna, massive investment in trade and industry, enactment of auto policy for manufacturing of cars, the construction of modern electronic rail and provision of new trains nationwide, youths empowerment and a host of other achievements that time and space will not permit me to mention. These have endeared him to the heart of the electorates and I have no doubt that these has made President Jonathan re-election a walk over.
However, President Jonathan as the Grand Commander of the Armed Forces of Nigeria must increase the pace of solving the insecurity issues in the north-eastern Nigeria. The Boko-Haram issue must not only be tackled with physical policing or military approach, but through honest and accurate dialogue between the people and the federal government, so that our girls kidnapped in Chibok can be released and be reunited with their respective families.
President Jonathan has been tested within this shortest period of time, and he can be trusted, though seen to be slow but he is sure and steady. He is gentle, calm and calculated. With all these and many more his re-election victory comes. February 14, 2015 is sure and certain. I therefore congratulate you in advance. May I Use this Moment to Appeal to President Goodluck Jonathan to Adopt a Political Approach in Solving the OAU Crisis.
Long live Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. Long live Nigeria.

AKWA IBOM CHILD RIGHTS LAW

The Akwa Ibom State Child Rights Law The Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Obong Godswill Akpabio, on 5th December, 2008 signed the child rights act into law to protect the growth of perceptual, emotional, intellectual, and behavioural capabilities and functioning during childhood of Akwa Ibom children under 16 years.
