The good deeds of immediate past President of Nigeria has not gone unnoticed as he continue to receives commendation both from Nigerians and international figures like former President of the United States of America, Jimmy Carter. Last week, the former President of Nigeria, Alhaji Shehu Shagari always pured encomium on Dr. Goodluck Jonathan as a leader of leaders in his birthday wishes to former President Jonathan. Below is one of such words of commendation from a Senator from Jonathan's Constituency, Senator Ben Murray Bruce. It  reads: "Recently the world was looking for someone with the moral authority to promote democracy in Tanzania. I DID MY BEST FOR BENUE - SUSWAM

The immediate past governor of Benue State, Rt. Hon. Gabriel Suswam challenged his accusers to stop pointing accusing fingers and get down to work. The governor made this position known in his recent post on his personal facebook page. Hear him: "I did my best for Benue, I can only aspire to be better always and that's what leadership entails. When I assumed office as Governor of Benue state in 2007, there were obvious lapses, there were debts, unpaid salaries, contractual obligations, dilapidated infrastructure, a weak and an under enumerated civil service etc I didn't make excuses, I took it head on and in a short while there were visible changes in and around every urban centre, the new Ministry of rural developmen t and cooperatives we created made impact in the rural areas by providing electricity to over 100 communities in the first year alone. OPINION: A CLARION CALL - UBONG DAVID

Many political activists has emerged and more critics has resurface the social media. This is much expected as I earlier submitted due to what the former opposition party, the All Progressive Congress did to PDP led administration of President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. When President Muhammadu Buhari was finally announced as the winner of the March 28 presidential election, thousand of PDP members whose present are dominant on social media also promised to retaliate. What we are experiencing in the first two weeks of President Muhammadu Buhari administration is a fulfillment of that promise and Nigerian should not be surprise on this development. MY OBSERVATION While many political activists has emerged, a pointer to the ...

KEY ACHIEVEMENTS OF JONATHAN ADMINISTRATION DEMOCRACY AT WORK In response to the challenges of military dictatorship in Nigeria, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was formed by like-minded individuals to mobilize Nigerians to build a nation responsive to the aspirations of its people. In the past 15 years, the Peoples Democratic Party has been at the center of democratic governance in the country.  Within this numbers of years, many has attempted to discredited PDP government as not making any achievable impacts since 1999 but it is worthy to note   that the Party has deliver on its mandate in line with the vision of the founding fathers and its manifesto. From President Olusegun Obasanjo to the late President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua and now President Goodluck Jonathan administration, PDP had recorded landmark achievements in all sectors of the economy. From the onset, Obasanjo was able to attract technocrats and Nigerian expatriates to his administration...
