Assassination attempt: Police declare Benue ex-council Boss wanted By Michael Onjewu - The Nigerian Police has on Saturday launched a hunt on the immediate past Chairman of Ogbadibo Local Govt Council in Benue, Mr. Oduma Paul Adoyi. Mr. Paul was accused of threatening an Abuja based Journalist and Publisher of DayBreak Newspaper, Yemi Itodo after beating him up at the Benue Governor’s Lodge in Asokoro Abuja on Friday, under the nose of Gov. Samuel Ortom. According to a report, it took the spirited efforts of Journalists and some Aides of the Governor before Mr. Itodo was rescued from the ex-council boss and his thugs.
