Restore Nigeria, ARAN, has called on former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, to declare his intention to contest the 2015 Presidential election.
ARAN in a statement by its Convener, Mr. Oluwasegun Ola-Jones, on Monday in Abuja, said the former Vice President should run on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
The statement added that the only hope left for the restoration of human dignity and abolition of poverty in Nigeria was for Abubakar to take over from President Goodluck Jonathan.
The group believes that Atuku’s emergence as president would restore hope for the common man and as well provide jobs for the youths.
ARAN, while condemning the recent bomb attacks in both Kano and Kaduna states by the Boko Haram sect where scores were killed and several injured, also thanked God for sparing the lives of both Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd) and Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi who narrowly escaped the blasts.
“We also felicitate with all our Muslim brothers and Sisters on the occasion of the just concluded Ramadan fasting.
“We pray that the gains of the season will not be lost on all with the belief that every Nigerian continues with the spirit of being a brother’s keeper,” it added.
