PREAMBLE
We, the concerned citizens of Nigeria from the 36 States of the Federation and Federal Capital Territory (FCT) being cognizant of our heritage, root and responsibilities to our country and the People’s Democratic Party of Nigeria hereby compile this Constitution as evidence to our resolve to work together under the umbrella of PDP FAN CLUB WORLDWIDE as a socio-political organization committed to promote the policies, programmes and ideals of our great party and give young people opportunity to participate actively in political mainstreaming.

PDP FAN CLUB is a social platform for friends, families, supporters and well-wishers of People’s Democratic Party who has supported the party in years past and will continue to support the party to win more elections in Nigeria. It is a grassroot machinery to mobilize all supporters of People’s Democratic Party to give more support and pledge their solidarity with the party and all its elected/appointed officials. The Club is committed to complement the effort of the different structures of the party at all level.
ARTICLE 1       -           NAME
1.1       This organization shall be called and addressed as “PDP FAN CLUB WORLDWIDE” hereto referred as the organization.
1.2       The mailing address for this organization shall be in “ABUJA” being the Capital of Nigeria and hav                 e Secretariat in all the State in the federation.
1.3       This organization shall be a “Development-Driven Socio-Political” and “Advocacy” organization.
1.4       The motto of the organization shall be “Building a Nation, Developing a People.”
1.5       The Slogan of the organization shall be “PDP FAN CLUB, GRASSROOT DEVELOPMENT”.
1.6       The logo for the organization shall be “a circle with young people lifting the map of Nigeria” which signifies Unity of Purpose among members to help the party build a progressive Nigeria.

ARTICLE 2       -           PURPOSE/OBJECTIVES
2.1       VISION – The vision of the club is to engage young people in the mainstream of democratic governance and strengthen their capacity in nation building.
2.2       MISSION – The mission of the organization is to enhance the abilities of young people in decision-making and providing positive leadership to the youth and also to engage them in community service with commitment, compassion and respect.


2.3       OBJECTIVES OF PDP FAN CLUB
(1) To provide members with the opportunity to express their admiration and solidarity for the People Democratic Party.
(2) To encourage public office holders under the party platform to uphold the tenets of accountability, integrity, honesty, transparency, uprightness, commitment to service, etc.
(3) To reawaken the consciousness of members to embrace transformational leadership for accelerated development.
(4) To create a forum for members of PDP especially young people to express and share their ideas and opinion on issues of collective national interest.
(5) To encourage a passion for improve society through qualitative service delivery and team leadership. Promote and encourage community involvement with the business sector with special interest in youth employment and entrepreneurship.
(6) Promote and encourage the participation of young people in the development of policy, progress and service development.
(7) Raise awareness of access and equity principles and practice for young people including direct service delivery, employment, education and participation in decision-making within the community.
(8) Promote unity and collaboration among youth in active political participation in Nigeria.
(9) Develop and maintain coordinated networks and linkages between government, private sector and young people in order to establish a positive strategic vision for young people in Nigeria.

2.4       CORE VALUES - Integrity, honesty, love, patriotism, respect, loyalty, accountability, service, modesty, etc.

2.5       CODE OF CONDUCT FOR MEMBERS OF PDP FAN CLUB
(1) All members must exhibit dignity and pride as characteristics of PDP Fan Club.
(2) All members must conduct themselves in a manner that does not taint or discredit the Club or other members.
(3) A member must not engage in any activity that embarrass or inhibits others from participating in the Club or disparage other members.
(4) A member preserves and supports the Club, its members and remains committed to the Club in action and/or spirit.
(5) All members must uphold the tenets of transparency, integrity, accountability, uprightness, decency, respect, loyalty, service, modesty, etc.
(6) All members assign with responsibility must perform same with diligence. Flimsy excuses will not be accepted.
(7) All members must dress decently. Any act of indecency during Club activities, meetings or other functions will not be condone.
(8) Absenteeism or non-active participation in club meetings, activities or functions without justify reason will attract penalty.
(9) All members must not write or make any offensive or inciting comments about the Club or its members. All suggestions or observations should be forwarded to appropriate quarters for consideration.
(10) All members must be loyal to the leadership of the Club at all levels and also adhere to the point in the Code of Conduct.

Any violations of the above statements and others not covered by this CODE OF CONDUCT will be ground for suspension or immediate dismissal from the Club. The above Code of Conduct is strictly for members of PDP FAN CLUB and do not supersede Article 9.1 of the People Democratic Party. We expect all members to abide by these guidelines while participating in our functions and activities.

ARTICLE 3       -           MEMBERSHIP
ELIGIBILITY FOR MEMBERSHIP
3.1       INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP – Membership shall be granted to all persons who accept the objectives of the Club and are willing to devote themselves to its aims and objectives. All proposed members shall fill a Membership Form and submit same to the National Secretary for proper documentation.
3.2       Membership of the Club shall open to all Nigerians who are members of Peoples Democratic Party irrespective of their religion, ethnicity, gender, social and economic standing;
3.3       Accept the programs, activities and objectives of the Club;
3.4       Undertake to abide by the Constitution of the Club and its Code of Conduct.
3.5       A prospective member shall register at his or her Ward or where he or she is resident to do business in Nigeria.
3.6       Membership Identification Card must be issued to every financial member.
