It has come to our notice that some faceless individuals and men of easy virtues are using pictures of public figures to duped the general public especially young people on pretence of giving them jobs, attending conferences, or participating in oversea training, etc after paying huge sum of money. This is the highest form of fraud perpetuated by our brothers and sisters living among us.

We want to put the record straight that there is no public figure in the likes of Goodluck Jonathan, Patience Jonathan, Godswill Akpabio, Mrs Ekaette Uloma Akpabio, Senator Ita Enang, Senator Helen Esuene, Senator David Mark, David Oyedepo, Enoch Adeboye and other public figures in and outside Nigeria will send you a friend request on Facebook let alone of requesting for money for non- existing form for non-existing jobs, training and conferences. 

The general public should be cautious of the activities of these faceless and shameless human beings. Any dealings with them is at your own peril.

Please be guided accordingly.

The Akwa Ibom State Child Rights Law The Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Obong Godswill Akpabio, on 5th December, 2008 signed the child rights act into law to protect the growth of perceptual, emotional, intellectual, and behavioural capabilities and functioning during childhood of Akwa Ibom children under 16 years. The law protects the Akwa Ibom child from birth to adolescence and up to 16 years such that the child is afforded the necessary protection and assistance so that it can fully assume its responsibilities within the community.
