EAGLE BUILDERS FOUNDATION LAUNCHES EDUCATION PROGRAMS IN NIGERIA

A non-governmental organization, Eagle Builders Foundation that champion the cause of youth capacity development, women empowerment, child development, entrepreneurship and education in Nigeria will launch two educational programs in response to global advocacy on Education for All. The two educational projects is targeting at over 10 million Nigeria children who are roaming the street and do not have the basic education from primary to at least junior secondary level.

The projects Nigeria Education First Initiative (NEFI) and Girls Next Generation (GNG) are advocacy campaign geared toward ensuring that the 10.5 million out-of-school children are enrolled back to the classroom. NEFI is a national advocacy campaign to mobilize thousands of Education First Marshals, CSOs, NGOs, CBOs, policy makers, youth leaders, human right lawyers, activists and the media across the country to ensure that every Nigerian child is enrolled in school. The campaigners will work with relevant government institutions and agencies like Ministry of Education, Universal Basic Education Commission, National and State House of Assembly, corporate organizations, private sectors, etc to ensure that the UBE Act is fully implemented. Also, the GNG is to respond to greater investment in the education of girl-child as championed by the first lady of America, Michelle Obama with her ‪#‎LetGirlsLearn‬ and Sarah Brown, wife of UN Envoy on Education with her ‪#‎AWorldatSchool‬ Initiative.

Moreover, the NEFI and GNG Team will also collaborate with international organizations like ‪#‎UNDP‬, ‪#‎UNESCO‬, ‪#‎World‬ Bank, ‪#‎GEFI‬, ‪#‎USAID‬, etc for this projects to be successful.
We call on CSOs, organizations, groups and individual who are interested to partner with us to send their details to us through our email address: eaglebuildersfoundation@yahoo.com
Meanwhile, we condemn every attack on our school especially girls school which is aimed to put fear in them so as to continue to enslave the girl-child. Education is a right for every child and they should not be denied this right. We therefore call on government to put more investment in education to checkmate poverty and HIV/AIDS.
