REASONS WHY AKWA IBOM WILL GO FOR UDOM EMMANUEL ON APRIL 11

By Promise Etim

After a thorough research across the 31 LGAs and robust analyses of blueprint of candidates vying for Governorship of the state, a group of research analysts have come out with a logical position that Mr. Udom Gabriel Emmanuel of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) will win the April 11 polls with over 90% of the total votes across the state for the following reasons and many more…

1. Udom Emmnauel’s blueprint is backed up and guided by massive Research and Development (R&D) component. Key issues illustrated in his blueprint carefully highlight and reflect the basic needs of Akwa Ibom people in terms of the 4W question of: What, Who, When and Where. His packaging truly details what is needed by who in where and when needed.

2. Zoning of the office to Eket Senatorial District in line with equity, justice and fair play. Udom is favoured by the zoning arrangement of the state. He hails from Onna Local Government, which is in Eket Senatorial District, who logically are positioned to produce the next Governor after Uyo (1999-2007) and Ikot Ekpene (2007-2015) have had their turns.

3. Power of incumbency: Udom Emmanuel enjoys enormous support from the present administration, who see him as a bridge needed for sustenance of the developmental tempo and continued transformation of the state

4. Udom Emmnauel is loved by the Youths. His Youthfulness and promise to run a Youth oriented administration is very key to luring young men and women of voting age to his political enclave. Akwa Ibom Youths are already relishing the prospects of playing active roles in the next administration. Similar module was adopted by Governor Akpabio and has been responsible for successes recorded over the years in terms of Human Capital Development and empowerment.

5. Udom’s wealth of experience in cooperate Governance has placed him slightly above others as the average Akwa Ibom person see him as a man with the right connection to lure investors to the state. The people are of the opinion, that such opportunities will create jobs and alleviate sufferings of the people

6. Udom’s Agricultural transformation agenda is in-depth and appealing. It is completely in line with the nation’s Agricultural Transformation Agenda (ATA) and the United Nation’s goal towards tackling food insecurity. Many are of the opinion that the state is in for a turnaround in terms of revenue mobilization and generation. Udom’s focus in this direction, according to our review is capable of ensuring the paradigm shift needed to reposition the state from oil driven to a private sector based economy.

7. His financial background is hugely needed to galvanize the state’s economy to up meet with contemporaries, given incessant drop in oil price in the global market.

EFREN PENAFLORIDA - SOCIAL WORKER AND TEACHER

Efren’s Penaflorida – Social Worker and Teacher Efren PeƱaflorida, Jr. sports no cape. He has no superpowers. You would neither throw him a second glance nor even notice him in a big crowd. There is really nothing special about Efren except his unparalleled dedication to reforming kids in their poverty-stricken community in Cavite, Philippines.Efren PeƱaflorida, Jr.’s sanity was questioned when people first saw him going around the neighborhood pushing his improvised cart loaded with food, books, paper, pencils, and other things you would commonly see in a classroom. Why, Efren goes around the neighborhood pushing a mobile classroom to peddle the love for education. He left his well-paying job as a private school teacher to devote all of his time and effort to his Kariton Klasrum project while his neighbors mock him.To make matters worse, his parents and brother did not see the point in his earnestness to get out-of-school youths interested in going back to school. For a family s...
