A support group for the election of Sen. Bassey Albert Akpan otherwise known and addressed as OBA has celebrated the birthday of the wife of their principal. In a message by the media coordinator of the group, Idorenyin Umana, the group extol the sterling qualities of the wife of the principal and wish her more grace ahead. Below is the birthday message:

Fourteen years ago you were only 26, a very handsome young man wondered from South to East in search of a wife having been told by his pastor that he who findeth a wife findeth good thing and receive Favour from God. Having known the qualities he needed in a wife,the search for a woman who would be embedded with these rare qualities became a difficult venture,but little did he know that God had already prepared in you a wife for him, a sister to him and his biological brothers n sisters,a mother to him and the 4million people of Akwa Ibom State. The goodness n Favour he found in you turn a very poor humble houseboy to one of the most successful bankers in Akwa Ibom State,to the longest serving Commissioner for Finance in Akwa Ibom State,turned him to one of the youngest senators of the Federal Republic and still taking him to occupy yet other high positions in the land.

It was Edward Bulwer Lytton who said that to find what u seek in the road of life the best proverb of all is that which says " Leave no Stones unturned " . As u start the second chapter of ur life today at forty (40) ,we can only say that u should leave no spiritual stones unturned,leave no political stones unturned and leave no life journey's stones unturned as these are the things that will continually take ur lovely husband and family to the world map of leaders as ur family will soon be known and address as the first family because in the words of a great philosopher Aristotle he said that "we are what we repeatedly do and Excellence therefore is not an act but a habit". 
As you mark 40years on earth today we the Friends of Senator Bassey Albert wish u the mother of many Nations,you a friend to the downtrodden,you humility personified ,you an epitome of beauty,you the praying machine,you the channel of Blessing,you the virtuous woman in the bible Mrs Nkiru Imaobong Bassey Albert a happy birthday and many happy returns while also wishing u long life and God's protection as we pray that when posterity will come to flip open the history books of the greatest women who ever lived ,your name will be found in the positive side of history that it all began in a small town of Ezioha Mmaku in Awgu LGA of Enugu State.

The Akwa Ibom State Child Rights Law The Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Obong Godswill Akpabio, on 5th December, 2008 signed the child rights act into law to protect the growth of perceptual, emotional, intellectual, and behavioural capabilities and functioning during childhood of Akwa Ibom children under 16 years. The law protects the Akwa Ibom child from birth to adolescence and up to 16 years such that the child is afforded the necessary protection and assistance so that it can fully assume its responsibilities within the community.
