UDOM WILL DELIVER GOOD ROAD NETWORK IN A'IBOM -WORKS COMMISSIONER


- As MIN OF WORKS , EXPERTS BEGIN ROAD INSPECTION
The newly sworn-in commissioner for Works in the state, Mr. Ephraim Inyang-Eyen has assured the people of Akwa Ibom that the state governor, Deacon Udom Gabriel Emmanuel will deliver good road network in the state.
Mr. Inyang-Eyen, who gave the assurance yesterday during the inspection of roads in Onna and some parts of Etinan local government areas, said that the roads, when constructed, will bring development to the local communities.
The Works Commissioner, who was accompanied by experts of CCECC and principal staff of the Ministry of Works, disclosed that the inspection is part of his assignment as it will enable the government to identify localities in need of urgent intervention.
"You can see clearly that His Excellency is in a hurry to get a lot of things done. He is anxious because he knows the expectations of the people. When he went round the state, he said he will start working immediately he is sworn-in. It is in fulfillment of that promise tha he wants to embark on construction of roads.
"Yesterday, we were in Oron, inspecting roads and gullies, today we are in Onna, tomorrow, we will be in another local government. I want to assure the people of Akwa Ibom that the governor is ready to to do his best to ensure that the state has good road network", he said.
