HON. ONOFIOK LUKE THANKED SUPPORTERS FOR GIVING HIM A SECOND TERM MANDATE

On this day a year ago, God proved Himself God in my case, when men rose to truncate my return to the House Of Assembly not because I did not perform to merit a return but because of my disagreement in principles with a few happenings then, God granted me victory at Mobile Police Base Idoro Rd, venue of my Party's primaries. I return all the glory to God and will forever live to worship HIM.

To those who believed in me even when all hope was gone, I say a big thank you. On this day I will specially thank the teaming youths of Nsit Ubium who stood by me against all odds, specifically OLB and other groups.



I also appreciate the women who prayed and wailed and fasted on my behalf.
To some of the party officials who refused to be compromised in other to betray me, I pray God to bless you all. 


The Elders, Led by Sen Effiong Bob and others I thank you. Capt. Iniobong Ekong, you are a brother, you were nearly sacked for standing by me, but you never wavered, you stood your ground and told the authorities the truth.


To the Amazing Grace 2015 Family led by Hon. Gabriel Okon, I ask God to bless you guys abundantly for your unwavering support and commitment even in the face of paucity of funds on our side and the abundance of government funds on the other side.


To my spiritual Father and Pastor, Rev.Ntia Ntia, who gave me a word of victory that morning when all hope had seemed lost, I pray God to always honour HIS word in your mouth with power, signs and wonders.


I can't forget my family, most especially my Son Evangelist Etiusungisang Onofiok Luke who led the sisters in singing for me that morning.


My father's house led by my mother, your love for me became manifest on this day. Thank you mum for your prayers. To my parents in laws, your commitment to my success has been legendary.
My staff, police and civilians you have been God's gift to me.


Finally 2 wonderful friends deserve special mention for their contributions this day, Barr. Isaac Paul Umana and Barr. Com. Ini Ememobong, you proved what friendship meant, you stood by me in thick and thin. Thank you pals.


To others I have not mentioned specifically, like my cousin Nsikak Essiet and others, I pray God to reward you abundantly.


To the press community in the state, I thank you for always being there for me.


Thank you Lord for AMAZING GRACE.


N.B I wish to state categorically clear that I begrudge no one as God has been faithful.

AKWA IBOM CHILD RIGHTS LAW

The Akwa Ibom State Child Rights Law The Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Obong Godswill Akpabio, on 5th December, 2008 signed the child rights act into law to protect the growth of perceptual, emotional, intellectual, and behavioural capabilities and functioning during childhood of Akwa Ibom children under 16 years. The law protects the Akwa Ibom child from birth to adolescence and up to 16 years such that the child is afforded the necessary protection and assistance so that it can fully assume its responsibilities within the community.
