If any man must succeed in life, you must have enemies, opposition and critics. For any Leader or government in power, without pressure from its citizens, credible opposition, critics, protest from labour unions and Civil Liberty Organizations, critical analysis of its programmes and policies. Such person or government will drift, derail and fail. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. You can never be a dancer, be the spectators and at the same beat the drums. Its impossible.
For President Buhari and APC to deliver on their promises, they must be kept in balance, checked, reminded of their electioneering campaigns and promises. Issues and policies must be examined and not persons. In President Jonathan's and PDP era, the International Community, Governors, Men of God, South West Press, Northern Oligarchs, NLC, TUC, Civil Liberty Organizations, groups and individuals were up in arms against every programme, policy of that administration, these culminated into the hate and hatred against President Jonathan. His performance and achievements were completely ridiculed and misinterpreted. All his actions especially in the build up to 2015 elections were erroneously placed, and the misinformed and susceptible public were duped into accepting and supporting the "Change Train". A big lesson to those that care.
Nigeria as a Nation can't move forward if we remain silence in the face of any charade, directionless direction, sabotage, incompetence, economic decay, story tellers, hunger and starvation and One Party Nation. Where we are today is a mixture of our complacency, lack of interest in government and governance, sycophancy, yes, yes and mental slavery and anything goes. Let us wake up.
On activism, it was very fierce and strong in the South West and few Northern elements. But today, it's like, they have been compromised or the agitators gone to sleep. So much work to be done in this Nation and our state. Upon that we know who Senator Bola Tinubu is, we are helpless on account of his products and leadership ingenuity and prowess. He's everywhere. Who can be like that here. Will personal interest permits such an emergence.

"President Buhari must be encouraged and checked, Governor Udom Emmanuel must be encouraged, monitored and checked". Nobody can lay claims to be of paragon of virtues or an embodiment of wisdom. We have a lot of sacrifices to make. Nigeria ll get better, Akwa Ibom is getting better. We will all get better. Personally, I want to be the small boy in a Team.
