EKET COUNCIL BOSS CELEBRATES BIRTHDAY

The Chairman Transition Committee of Eket Local Government Area who is also the Chairman of all Transition Committee Chairmen in Akwa Ibom State, Hon. Frank Archibong marks his birthday today. Informing his friends and well wishers in a facebook message, Hon. Archibong stated that his life on earth is a gift from his creator and a reflection of the will.

"Today I choose to live like I will die tomorrow, but more importantly I choose to learn as if I will live forever. I see my life as a gift from the creator, and my gift back to the creator is to live a life that is a reflection of His Will. Happy birthday to me."
Hon. Archibong political profile is rising in every dispensation. He was appointed the Secretary of Eket Transition Committee by Godswill Akpabio led administration. When the Chairman of the Transition Committee, Chief Aniekan Akpan resigned his appointment to contest as Executive Chairman of Eket LGA, Hon. Frank Archibong stepped into his shoe and lead the people of Eket till the election was concluded. He was again re-appointed as the Secretary of Council serving the three year tenure of that administration.

As the Secretary of Council, his sterling leadership qualities was the admiration of all who have contact with him. He became the darling of Eket people especially the women. After the dissolution of tenure of elected local government by Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Hon. Frank Archibong was again re-appointed the Chairman Transition Committee of Eket Local Government Area by Governor Udom Emmanuel led administration which tenure was extended to another six months. He emerged as Chairman of all Transition Committee Chairmen in the state and building on his political profile.

As he clocks 41 today, we wish him more years of quality service to the people of Eket local government area and Akwa Ibom State respectively. Happy Birthday Sir.

The Akwa Ibom State Child Rights Law The Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Obong Godswill Akpabio, on 5th December, 2008 signed the child rights act into law to protect the growth of perceptual, emotional, intellectual, and behavioural capabilities and functioning during childhood of Akwa Ibom children under 16 years.
