SHAME ON THE HUMAN RIGHT LAWYERS AND COMMUNITIES IN NIGERIA It is very ridiculous and embarrassing to have people who are christened as constitutional and human right lawyers but failed to speak out when constitutional issues are raised. It is more ridiculous to see a party running a campaign against impunity and to defend the rule of law but fail to do the needful as a prelude to entrench what they preach. MY RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM One man that I have follow passionately politically in the build up to 2015 general election is the immediate past State Organizing Secretary and PDP flag bearer for Ibesikpo Asutan State Constituency, Hon. (Elder) Aniekan Uko. Though we havent met before except today at his residence during the child dedication of his second son, Amekiidabasi Aniekan Uko, I must submit that the likes of Hon. Uko are very rare in the present political landscape of my state. Though I still have few who are serving in the present dispensation that are easily accessible but Aniekan Uko is exceptional.
