The Federal Government on when Thursday announced that the taxi driver , Mr Imeh Usuah who returned $120,000, (about 18 Million Naira) left in his car by a passe nger will be honoured with the National honour of the Member of the Federal Republic (MFR). By Hajiya Bukola Ojobe Ahmed Adamu is no doubt, one of the numerous young men who have distinguished themselves and are doing Nigeria proud in the diaspora. He was recently voted the pioneer president of the Commonwealth Youth Council, CYC, an umbrella body for 1.2 Billion youths around the world. Adamu, a native of Katsina state bagged a BSc. in Economics from the Bayero University, Kano and an MSc. in Oil and Gas Economics in Dundee University, UK. He is currently a Ph.D. student in Economics at the University of Newcastle, UK. Activism and politics have always been a part of Adamu’s life and it manifested prominently during his university days in Kano. He was the Financial Secretary of the Student Union Government in his university days. While holding this position, Adamu was able to positively engage the university senate and was very instrumental in the success achieved by the SUG. Dangote Places Order For Refinery Equipment As FG Grants Licence Aliko Dangote The quest by Africa’s richest man , Aliko Dangote to make an intervention in Nigeria’s long standing fuel supply hiccups is being pursued vigorously with advance orders believed to have been made for equipment  that will be used to build his proposed $8 billion refinery and petrochemical plant in Lekki, Lagos. It was  learnt yesterday that the orders for these equipment were made ahead of government granting a Licence-To-Establish (LTE) a refinery which Dangote received only a few days ago. The equipment ordered include ‘Long Lead Items’ and a power plant, which ordinarily would take  between 18 and 21 months from time of order to time of delivery. It is anticipated that these advance orders may cut short the take-off time of the project.
