The 2015 general election in Nigeria is generating a lot of interests within and outside the country. This is understandable. WHO IS AFRAID OF THE MILITARY? By Ubong David I have listened to many arguments whether the military should be deployed to election centers or not. Why some are in support, others have opposed it strongly. There is a report on NTA news that there was a brawl at the lower chamber of the National Assembly yesterday on the same issue. This is very funny as our lawmakers and some Nigerians have leave the real issues to debate on things that do not add up at all. The deployment of troops to election center is in order and is not a debatable issue at all. Why are the opposition afraid of the same military that was used in Edo, Anambra, Ekiti, Osun which the opposition won three of the four elections? As far as I am concern, with the present of the military and SSS, those thugs recruited to hijack election materials and run away to an unknown destination will be curb accordingly.
